3.1.10 Walter Adolf Hombsch.
Walter lived all his life on the family property, “Ardenvale”. He was a very keen and talented sportsman and represented the district cricket and tennis. Although he never married, Walter was always favorite uncle to his nieces and nephews. He was noted for his love of animals and with his brother Wilfred was regarded as a successful and progressive farmer. Walter died after a massive heart attack while working on the farm.
