Selma was baptised at South Kilkerran by Pastor J. H. Hoopmann and later confirmed at South Kilkerran by Pastor by Pastor J.H.S. Heidenreich. She spent her later life at her parent’s home helping wherever possible. She enjoyed needlework and crochet.
Selma suffered epileptic fits and had a very restricted life. She suffered greatly throughout her short life and died at the age of thirty nine years. She was buried at South Kilkerran by Pastor J.P.T. Sabel.
