3.6.5 Esther Irene Arnold.

Esther was born in her parent’s home on 15 February 1902 and received her education at the Lutheran school at Bethel. Like her sisters she worked for different families yet mostly at home where help was needed to care for her mother who was confined to a wheelchair for nearly two years. After her father had transferred his property to her brother’s Arthur and Ben, Esther continued to help her parents until their deaths.
In 1976 together with her youngest sister Edith, Esther moved to Nuriootpa. She died in the Angaston Hospital on 6 July 1982 and is buried at Bethel.
