3.5.6 Pauline Alma Arnold.
Alma was baptised on 19 August at St John’s Church at South Kilkerran by Pastor Paul Buck. Her sponsors were Mrs Aug. Linke, Willy Ellies and Mrs Ellies. She was confirmed on 23 November 1913 by Pastor P H Hass at South Kilkerran.
Alma kept house for her brothers and sisters until they moved to Tanunda in 1934 where she continued doing housework for families in the district and helped care for her aging parents.
She enjoyed cooking, needlework, crochet and arranging flowers. Alma was an active member of St John’s Tanunda Church and guild. She died on 1 December 1987 at Tanunda Lutheran Rest Home where she was a resident in her latter years. Herfuneral service was conducted by Pastor K Jaworski.
