Louise was baptised by Pastor Paul Buck at St John’s Church, South Kilkerran and educated at the Lutheran Day School, South Kilkerran and Port Victoria Public School. She was confirmed on 13 November 1919 at St John’s, South Kilkerran by Pastor P H Hass.
She moved from South Kilkerran to 10 Jane Place, Tanunda with her parents on 5 July 1934. There Louise worked for numerous families in the district, mainly families with small children, until her sixtieth birthday.
Louise was very talented in her handiwork and was busy in her flower and vegetable garden. She enjoyed good health until her latter years when she suffered from arthritis in her legs. Louise was a member of St John’s congregation in Tanunda for over fifty years and was a member of the ladies guild for more than thirty two years.
She died peacefully on Saturday 21 July 1984 at home. Her funeral was conducted at St John’s, Tanunda by Rev K Jaworski and she is buried at Langmeil cemetery.
