Born: 16 November 1908

After finishing school Norman was employed with the Eudunda Farmers Co-op Stores for twelve months and then moved with the family to Mypolonga and worked in his father’s general store. He joined the A I F during World War II and saw active service in the Pacific area.

On his return to civilian life, he took charge of the grocery department of the store. When his father retired, Norman became part owner and remained in the store until the business was sold in 1976.

His musical talent was in playing the tenor horn. Norman played tennis and golf and in his later years, bowls, which he still enjoys.
